Walk on the Wild Coast

 

From the charming port ofPortivy , take the coastal path and walk along the kilometers of   wild side   in the heart of the Grand site of France Dunes Sauvages de Gâvres in Quiberon . Between cliffs battered by the winds and sculpted by the swell and perched dunes, admire emblematic places and exceptional viewpoints such as Port Bara, the arch of Port Blanc, and the Pointe du Percho .

According to your desires, take advantage of the manynautical activities which find their favorite grounds sometimes on the Bay side on an exceptional body of water, sometimes on the Ocean side. In July and August, swimming is supervised on Kéraude beach near the Port of Orange .

Portivy,a world at the end of the world, is the only shelter for sailors on the ocean side. The small port of Portivy discovers a fishing village on the seafront. Take a walk to the Lotivy chapel . Don't miss the sunset over the sea, a spectacle that never ceases to fascinate evening walkers.

On the Bay side, the Port of Orange offers a breathtaking view of the Bay of Quiberon. The Éric Tabarly promenade invites you to stroll along the seafront where beautiful villas dating from the end of the 19th century recall the genesis of tourism with the arrival of the train in 1882.

Suspended terraces, shops nearby and summer events allow you to enjoy this small port. The pretty beach of Kéraude with its clear and fine sand is an ideal family haven.
